Volunteering at the Library

The Kids Library has volunteer positions available for middle school students during Summer Reading and during the school year.

Other Library departments have a very limited number of volunteer positions.  Any openings will be posted here.

Outreach Volunteer

Volunteer needed to deliver library materials to patrons who cannot get to the library. You must be comfortable driving and enjoy working with people. You must also be able to work efficiently and productively with minimal supervision and follow detailed instructions with accuracy. No more than 3 hours per week, year ‘round. Please fill out an application and return to the Outreach Librarian in person at the 2nd Floor Information Desk, via email at outreach@elmhurst.org or mail to 125 S.
